Florida (FLDE) Livescan Fingerprinting  - Contrary to what you may read.... Any company that is certified and approved to take and transmit Digital Fingerprints for Florida (FLDE) Livescans can service any agency.  Though Florida's Department of Financial Services may state that you must use specific companies like (Idemia or Fieldprint) you can actually use any provider as long as you have an ORI code.  There is no delay or disadvantage to using other third party companies.. In fact... this allows consumers the opportunity or choice.

2. Schedule an appointment with a Trained Fingerprint Technician. They will capture your fingerprints electronically.
3. The captured fingerprints and any required documentation are uploaded directly to the FDLE.
4. Typically the response timeframe from FDLE is 3-5 business days

Total Cost - $50 for 2 completed FD-258 Ink Fingerprint Cards. (Mobile Fee $49)

Purpose:

• Ink card fingerprinting is commonly used for background checks, visa applications, and other official purposes.
• It provides a physical record of an individual’s fingerprints on a card.

Process:

• A trained technician uses an ink roller to apply ink to the subject’s fingertips.
• The subject then rolls each fingertip onto the corresponding fingerprint box on a pre-printed FBI Form FD-258 card.
• This process captures both rolled and flat impressions onto the card.
• The resulting card contains a visible copy of the person’s fingerprints.
